Our GOL is to increase young participants focus and awareness, develop greater self-esteem, relax and reduce stress, while increasing flexibility and refining motor skills. During our Yoga Program sessions, children perform a variety of yoga exercises to encourage creativity and further their imagination. The emphasis is on FUN while working in a free-spirited environment.
Studies have shown that yoga not only boosts kids' physical and mental fitness, but also improves their behavior and grade point average. Other studies suggest that yoga practice improves impulse control among boys, decreases anxiety in teen girls, and helps them to deal with stress in a healthy way. Yoga gives children ages 3-18 a way to help deal with the daily stress.
Kids are under extreme pressures. Our Yoga Program provides an outlet for each individual, while not forgetting that each session challenges a child’s flexibility, endurance, and stamina; as well as helps to develop muscle strength and improves balance.
